The City of Santa Cruz Children's Fund Oversight Committee is thrilled to offer grant funding to support programs and services for Santa Cruz children and youth under age 25.

The Children's Fund Oversight Committee, responsible for managing revenues from the cannabis business tax (Measure A), is making available a total of $529,940 in Fiscal Years 2027 and 2028. These funds aim to enhance and expand programs serving children and youth most impacted by poverty, trauma, and violence.

"I am honored to serve on the Children’s Fund Committee and to support the City’s commitment to investing in the well-being of children and families. I deeply appreciate that the City welcomes community members who serve youth to help guide and steward these important resources," said Kris Munro, Santa Cruz School Superintendent and Chair of the Children's Fund Oversight Committee. "Together, we can ensure that the City’s efforts continue to uplift and empower the children and young people who are the heart of our community."

The grant application process is now open, with the deadline for submission on March 13, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
